19th Century Antique Japanese Fu Foo Dogs Protected Ceramic Meiji Urn By Satsuma
Beautiful Japanese Meiji period (1868-1912) Satsuma porcelain and rich decorated urn. The lidded jar is also richly decorated with enamel and hand-painted and gilt accents and has upturned male Fu / Foo dogs handels, for protection of the exterior and a lid with a female Fu / Foo dog to protect the inside.
