1920, Art Deco Secrétaire or Dry Bar by Axel Einar Hjorth for Nordiska Kompaniet

1920s, unique secretaire designed by Axel Einar Hjorth and manufactured in 1924 by Nordiska Kompaniet, numbered L228. This unique Art Deco secretaire is designed as an come-in to the USA for Nordiska Kompaniet. The Secretaire is veneered with flamed beech (sides and inside). The belt and top are veneered with rose and still strong in color. The black lacquered parts are beech. The two glass sliding doors on the top section are in mint condition.
